About SDS Sections

This part of the Knowledgbase goes through the 16 SDS sections, plus the SDS Annex, individually with information and guidance on what should go into each part.

An SDS with basic guidance which summarises the information in this section has also been provided here: SDS with basic guidance v1.1 07-07-2017 .

If you are in doubt about what to put on your SDS, and there is no relevant information in the knowledgebase, you can do one or more of these:

• check the ECHA SDS guidance at https://echa.europa.eu/documents/10162/23036412/sds_en.pdf/01c29e23-2cbe-49c0-aca7-72f22e101e20 (current version 3.1, November 2015)
• email us if you have a query, info@ttenvironmenta.wpengine.com
• ask a question on the CHCS forum (if you are a member)
• ask the HSE Helpdesk in the UK (either directly, or we can email them anonymously on your behalf), at UKREACHCA@hse.gov.uk
• if the query is for a non-UK SDS, ask the Competent Authority in that jurisdiction

We are always happy to update and correct the Knowledgebase so that all users have access to the most up-to-date information and intepretations available.
