Section 11 of the SDS
In the SDS, SECTION 11: Toxicological information comprises:
11.1. Information on toxicological effects
11.2 Other information
11.1. Information on toxicological effects
This section usually includes the following information on substances, which should be the data underpinning the classification for each of these hazards. If you have registered the substance for REACH, the data in this section must contain information which matches the dossier.
Where you have test data on the mixture itself, you should include it here; or where you have test data on the component substances which affect the hazardous properties of the mixture, you should include them here and state which component the data applies to. This will help an end user understand how you arrived at your mixture classification.
Acute toxicity information here (eg LD50 oral route x mg/kg, or not classified, or data not available
Skin corrosion/irritation information here, or not classified, or data not available
Serious eye damage/irritation information here, or not classified, or data not available
Respiratory or skin sensitisation information here, or not classified, or data not available
Germ cell mutagenicity information here, or not classified, or data not available
Carcinogenicity information here, or not classified, or data not available
Reproductive toxicity information here, or not classified, or data not available
STOT-single exposure information here, or not classified, or data not available
STOT-repeated exposure information here, or not classified, or data not available
Aspiration hazard. information here, or not classified, or data not available
Mixture information is required to be the same as for substances, except STOT single exposure and aspiration hazard, which are allowed to be omitted under REACH, but should probably be included under Duty of Care.
11.2. Other information
Information here or “no other information”. This can include toxicity data by routes not included in GHS, such as toxic in contact with eyes (EUH070) or other non GHS information.
